Why make changes?
Traffic surveys have indicated issues of congestion and vehicles mounting the footway on Nightingale Lane due to the narrowness of the road.
In order to address this, we are proposing to implement a “Point No Entry” by the junction of Nightingale Lane with Wellesley Road. This will help reduce traffic levels along this section of Nightingale Lane, reducing instances of vehicles mounting the footway and improving road safety in the area.
