Wanstead Parking Consultation

Closed 2 Aug 2019

Opened 14 Jun 2019

Results Updated 20 Sep 2019

Thank you to everyone that responded to this consultation. We are currently busy checking and finalising the results. As soon as the results are ready and they have been considered by our Cabinet Member for Civic Pride, we will post them here together with any further information.

Overview

Parking in some residential roads in Wanstead is becoming increasingly difficult as a result of commuter parking and displacement from adjacent controlled areas.  A number of requests, together with signed petitions, have been submitted to this Council asking for us to work with local residents to develop suitable solutions to the parking difficulties in these areas.

We are therefore conducting this consultation exercise so that we can better understand local views towards the option of permit parking.  Before answering the questionnaire, please carefully read the available information document.

Please note, only one completed questionnaire will be accepted per household. In the event of multiple submissions from the same postal address, only the most recent will be accepted.
