Redbridge SACRE Spirited Arts Competition

Closed 2 Apr 2021

Opened 1 Feb 2021

Redbridge Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (RE) would like to invite children and young people from all school phases to join our Spirited Arts Competition.

We welcome entries of art (drawing, painting or sketching etc) from all Redbridge pupils.

Pupils can enter individually or as a group. The competition starts on [??] February 2021 and closes on Friday, 2nd April 2021.

There are 5 different themes to choose from:

  • "We have far more in common with each other than divides us"
  • God's good earth - Beautiful World, Wonderful God
  • Where is God?
  • Healing
  • Inspiring

Further information about these themes can be found on the competition details link below and on the following page.

Pupils should write briefly about their artwork. Some suggested prompts for this are provided on the entry form, but free writing is encouraged. A single A4 sheet of 400 words is the maximum size for pupils’ commentaries.

There will be prizes for a runner up and winner in each theme. The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges from SACRE. A display of the best art work will be displayed on SACRE website and other social media platforms.

This project will allow you to enter the local Redbridge Spirited Arts Competition. We would encourage you to enter your best 10 pieces of work in the NATRE national “Spirited Arts Competition”
