Local Offer Survey

Closed 30 Sep 2020

Opened 6 Aug 2019

Overview

The Local Offer gives children and young people from birth to 25 with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) and their families information about what support is available in the local area. It helps parents, carers and young people as well as professionals to see clearly the range of services, support and information that are available in their local area and understand how to access them.

The Local Offer website is currently in the process of being redesigned. We plan to make the Local Offer Website more service user led, easier to use and more accessible. For this to happen, your voice is needed. We would really appreciate you taking 5-10 minutes of your time to complete the following short survey.

Why we are consulting

The information gathered from your answers will be used to help co-design the New Look Website and help us to feature a “You said-We did” section to demonstrate how your feedback will be used to help shape the development of  the Local Offer content and look.

Any comments will be used anonymously on the forthcoming "You Said-We Did" section on the Local Offer Website.

If you wish to be involved with our Empowering Parent Forum (EPT) to help shape and to be kept up to date with any future plans for Special Education Needs and/or Disability (SEND) services, please leave your contact details and the Local Offer will share your information with the EPT Administrators.

What happens next

The results from this survey will be used to help us improve and develop the Local Offer.  We will publish any received comments anonymously and they will be published on the forthcoming "You Said-We Did" section. We are keen to keep working in partnership with those who access the Local Offer website.  We look forward to continued feedback and input from those who access the Local Offer. Please visit the Local Offer Home Page to keep up to date with the changes and also to find out what is on offer for children and young people with Special Education Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) in the London Borough Redbridge.
