Overview

The London Borough of Redbridge is providing grants of up to £1,000 to support not for profit organisations and groups working with those affected by the Covid-19 Crisis in Redbridge through the Redbridge Social Action Fund (RSAF).

What you can apply for:
•    Delivery of services/support to address social isolation
•    Events/projects to bring communities together
•    Volunteer expenses 
•    Purchase of equipment to help you deliver services in different ways
•    Other needs - This list is not exhaustive; if there’s a need that Covid-19 has created that you want to address, make an application and we may be able to help.

Who Can Apply

Not-for profit organisations and groups with an annual income of less that £100,000 can apply (see the guidance note for full details). All of the funding that you apply for must deliver benefit within the London Borough of Redbridge.

What is the deadline for applications?

We’ll be assessing applications on a fortnightly basis. The first deadline is Friday 27 November at 5pm, and then fortnightly thereafter through to Friday 8 January 2021 (or until the fund is exhausted if this happens before then). Any funds still available after 8 January will be rolled for distribution later in the year.

Do I need to provide any other information?

At this stage all you need to do is complete the application form. If you are successful we may ask you to provide some further information before the grant is paid.

How will the applications be assessed?

Applications are assessed by Council staff and recommendations are made to the Cabinet Member for Transformation and Engagement to make the decision on which applications will be funded.
